IUBMB Travel Fellowships -> Application form

ISME Travel Fund: Applications for travel grants to students and postdoc can be done via the symposium website, that will open in December 2022. The amounts can vary between 200 and 800 EUR.

Microbiology Society Travel Grants provide funding for microbiologists who are members of the society to present at scientific conferences.  The Grants provide up to 750 GBP. There are 4 assessment rounds per year with the application closing dates on March 1, June 1, September 1, December 1) -> APPLY

FEMS Grants for Early Career Scientists**: This meeting is selected by the Federation of European Microbiological Societies (FEMS) to offer grants for event participation of Early Career Scientists**.

Eligibility:

To apply for this grant, you would need to meet following requirements:

• be a member of a FEMS Member Society* or be recommended by such a member
• be an Early Career Scientist**
• be an Active Microbiologist
• be presenting author at the meeting (oral or poster)

*Find out if your society is a FEMS Member at https://fems-microbiology.org/member-societies/

**These are active microbiologists who obtained the highest academic degree – Bachelor, Master or PhD – less than five years prior to the application deadline date, or are a Master or PhD student. Periods of maternity/paternity leave, special leave or illness do not count toward this definition.
